Starting on March 7, 2011, the Municipality of Panglao, will collect an Environmental User Fee from scuba divers and snorkelers for maintaining the Marine Protected Areas around Panglao Island.
This fee is not included in the diving prices.
The fees are:

one day diving (ticket) - P 100.-

Five days or more diving (valid for 3 months)
(token) - P 500.-

one day snorkeling (ticket) - P 50.-
